I am a cultural mediator based in Montreal.

I work towards democratising access to dance, visual arts, performance and storytelling.  I am currently working as a co-facilitator for Festival Quartiers Danses. I support dancers in delivering workshops in community centres, nursery homes, kindergardens, migrants centres, art galleries and museums.

What exactly is cultural mediation?

​

The Ville de Montréal has defined cultural action as necessary to "encourage access to culture to all residents".  To do so, facilitators such as myself are carrying out projects to cater to various publics. For instance, Festival Quartiers Danses offers workshops for participants ages 3 to 104, from all walks of life.

I have have worked in contemporary art fairs, community centres and art venues in the UK and in Montreal. I am currently supporting and facilitating workshops in community centres and residences for the elderly across Montreal, at Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and at Phi Foundation for Contemporary Art
